Weekend with Grandma

Jacob and I headed to Grandma's house Saturday morning (Bob had to work). We headed to the mall and had some lunch.I think Jacob was done with pictures.
Then, a trip to the Disney Store, where he made out with two new cars. He loves to help pay, now!
I was lucky enough to have Grandma offer to watch Jacob for a while so I could hit the Dollar Store and Target in search of supplies for Easter and Jacob's second birthday party. Even though his birthday isn't for a few months, I wanted to take advantage of the time to look without having Jacob with me.

Jacob missed his Grandma! I came home to find him totally content, and not even really caring I was home! Plus, Grandma had some great snacks. She taught him to drink out of a juice box without help - he doesn't squeeze the box anymore! Then, he stole Grandma's pretzel right off her plate. But, he shares (or stuffs it in her face).Sunday was pretty low-key as well. Bob had to work again, so it was just Jacob and me in the morning. Grandma and Grandpa came down for lunch and some shopping at Target and then headed home when Jacob was ready for his nap.

Now, just waiting for Jacob to wake up from his late night (thank you, Daylight Savings Time), and for Bob to get home from work. Then something easy for dinner and heading back to Target to try on some clothes I need for the summer. Pretty good deals right now because of Spring Break coming up, and I need some casual and cute summer clothes that will be comfortable to be outside all day with Jacob. Great weekend!

  1. So much fun and Jacob is so smart - thanks for letting me watch him this week end - we had fun playing cars. He shares so nice and when we came to your house Grandpa was so surprised to see that he recognizes all his colors when we all played with play-dough. You have taught him so so much!
