Saturday morning Jacob got to meet his t-ball team for the first time. He is on the Marlins, and super excited about his first season. It was pouring rain all day, but when we got home, Bob and Jacob played catch in the garage for a little while so Jacob could use his mitt for the first time. I love how he cringes every time the ball comes into his glove, cracks me up.
Then we visited with Bob's mom for a little while since she was in town to pick up Bob and they were going to a wedding up in Bob's hometown. After they left, the boys and I met my parents for lunch. The evening was spent playing outside together, riding bikes with neighborhood friends, and reading lots of books.
Sunday morning the boys and I went up to have breakfast with my mom, then back home to see Bob when he got home from the wedding. The boys were happy to see their daddy and enjoy the rest of the day sticking around the house, playing outside and just spending some time together.
