Pool Time and T-Ball

Time to play some catch up...I really wanted a post for each day this summer so I can look back and remember how we spent the final summer before we have a kid in "real" school (kindergarten). We have a pretty open schedule still, and I just wanted to remember all the stuff we get to do together and how we fill our carefree summer days.

Wednesday was pretty hot, so I filled up the pool in the morning and the boys got to swim after the water warmed up. I pulled out some little floaties for the boys, and they just had fun splashing around.

Nothing better than a popsicle. So thankful for the canopy we have now that the heat is coming and the boys can have a space to sit and get out of the sun.
Wednesday morning was also spent with Jacob deciding he was a left-handed hitter. He likes to set up the ball so he can hit it over the fence. Still shocked he is hitting left-handed even though he is right-handed for everything else. He is one funny kid. He was so proud of himself when this ball went all the way into the driveway across the street.
After two days of him playing baseball non stop in the backyard, we went Wednesday night to sign him up for t-ball this summer. He is so happy to start the season!
