Saturday was pretty busy and Jacob is exhausted today! The morning was still great weather before the heat hit, and we ended up playing outside for a while with our neighbor's little girl, Kylee, for a while. Until Jacob said he wanted a drink and it was already lunch time! Bob got some time to cut the grass and take care of the yard a little bit while we played and were out of his way which was nice. After Jacob's massive nap we headed up for a cookout at the Boden's where the Wiley's joined as well. With five kids all under the age of four, it's amazing how well they play and how little meltdowns occur with the group. They get along really well and it was nice for a little bit of adult time when the kids were playing so well together. We ended up not leaving until almost 9:30, so Jacob fell asleep on the way home and was still pretty tired this morning. He's still talking about his friends today, though!
Today is pretty low-key...hanging out with my parents and setting off some little fireworks tonight. This time last year Jacob was terrified, so hopefully he'll enjoy them this year.
