It's Too Hot!

I am beyond sick of these humid days - takes all the fun away from summer. Too hot for a toddler to be outside for long, and I really wish we had a spring this year instead of instant summer! We went out this morning at 8:30 and were already sweaty messes by 9.

Today at the grocery we almost broke down and bought Jacob a fish. Until I really remembered who takes care of the fish and who hates fish...me. He'll get a pet eventually, but I'm still holding out hope Bob gives in and we can get a cat.

In other news...I'm done with my first trimester tomorrow! That's very exciting. Starting to get a belly a little bit, but of course still looks like I just ate a little much to everyone else. No maternity clothes yet, and I go back to the doctor next week to hear that wonderful noise...the baby's heartbeat! It's like heaven hearing that and knowing everything is okay with your little baby. We are starting to think of some names, but nothing is really standing out right now. I think we were spoiled knowing that we were naming Jacob even before we were pregnant, so it wasn't that difficult for us. Although, we didn't have a single girls name picked out. Now we have a pretty good size list of names we like, but nothing that we could really see as a definite.
